PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the lower end of a spring to be surely supported without using a stopper pin. SOLUTION: A joint 46 for supporting a shift lever 44 in the shift and select directions is formed on the upper surface with a projecting part 77 for catching the lower end of a spring 67. Thus, even if the shift lever 44 is pivoted in the shift direction or select direction, the lower end of the spring 67 is engaged with the projecting part 77 to be surely supported and an upward urging function of a position pin 66 is maintained by the spring 67. Thus, an exclusive part like the conventional stopper pin can be disused to reduce the number of part items and man-hours for operation.
