PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly access a host system and to quickly cope with a customer at a visiting place by providing the conversion terminal of personal computer communication/host system and converting data. SOLUTION: From a portable terminal 1-1 through a public network (digital portable telephone network) 1-2 to a personal communication host GW 1-4 connected to a travel agency terminal 1-3 provided in a pertaining branch, access is performed by personal computer communication. The personal computer communication host GW 1-4 converts the data from the portable terminal 1-1 so as to be suitable for the host system 1-5 and transmits them through a network 1-6 for connecting the present travel agency terminal, 1-3 and the host system 1-5 after conversion. A reply from the host system 1-5 is converted (maintained) into a display form suitable for the portable terminal 1-1 and transmitted from the personal computer communication host GW 1-4 to the portable terminal 1-1.
