摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve spalling resistance, corrosion resistance and slaking resistance by incorporating a specific surface reformed magnesia powder, an activated magnesia fine powder and alumina and/or spinel. SOLUTION: The surface reformed magnesia powder, to which slaking resistance is imparted, is obtained by mixing the magnesia powder having <=20&mu;m average particle diameter with 0.1-30wt.% non-hydrating hydrophilic inorganic material having <=1&mu;m to stick the hydrophilic inorganic material on the surface of the magnesia powder. The surface reformed magnesia powder is blended by 1-15wt.% with 0.1-5wt.% activated magnesia fine powder having <=1&mu;m average particle diameter as a hardening agent, <=20wt.% silica powder having 0.1-15&mu;m average particle diameter and alumina and/or spinel.
