<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the characters swelling out of a display frame of a window, etc., in an easy-to-see way by setting the horizontal and vertical reduction ratios independently of each other when the document data are shot in a document display area. SOLUTION: The font that is reduced only in vertical direction and the font that is reduced only in the horizontal direction are previously registered in a dictionary out of all displayed fonts. At the same time, font sizes are registered in a font table 90. Then the fonts of characters, charts, etc., of the document shown in a character display area 10 are read when the display direction and the reduction ratio are designated. The input font sizes are stored in each position of the table 90, and the designated reduction direction is decided. Then the font size showing the designated reduction ratios is obtained based on the size positions of the table 90. The characters and charts of the obtained font size are shown in the area 10.</p> |
