DYNAMIC EXECUTION UNIT MANAGEMENT FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE USER LEVEL NETWORK PROTOCOL SERVER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically manage the pool of execution units inside a server system by periodically examining the number of non-used execution units inside a communication pool. SOLUTION: A client object 507 uses an IPC object 511 and performs connection to a server. To a protocol stack 513 for establishing a communication route to a network 505, a thread counter object is added so as to judge whether or not the communication thread of an allowable amount in the server to which a client machine or a client task is requested is exceeded. In the case of exceeding it, the communication route is not prepared and a service to a client process is denied. When the communication route to the server is established, a client port is allocated in the case that usable sufficient threads are present in a thread pool 522 on a server side from a client pool object 521 to a client request.
