PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application process for gold leaf to a laver sheet in which the gold leaf is uniformly distributed on the surface of a laver sheet with no gold leaf hidden by the laver sheet to give the objective gold leaf- applied laver sheet having no different appearance between the produced sheets, further gold leaf can be applied after a variety of characters, figures or patterns are properly arranged on the laver sheet and provided a gold leaf applicator. SOLUTION: This gold leaf applicator comprises a laver sheet conveyer 2 equipped with an intermittent motion mechanism, a gold leaf feeder 3 which stores the gold leaf and has a wire net under the gold leaf outlet and a vibration mechanism 4 which loads mechanical vibration to the gold leaf feeder 3. When the laver sheet-conveying frame 2a stops at a prescribed position under the gold leaf feeder 3, mechanical vibration is applied to the gold leaf feeder 4 by the vibration mechanism 4 to allow the gold leaf to fall down on the surface of the laver sheet. |
