PURPOSE: To provide a semipermanent light emission device for night alarm to dispense with a surplus pedal pedaling force for power generation by a method wherein by utilizing rotation of the wheel of a bicycle, static electricity is generated and a light emission body causes emission of light through discharge of the static electricity. CONSTITUTION: An insulation brush 11 is formed such that a number of fine bristles made of a synthetic resin, such as acrylic, resin are accumulated on an oblong insulation base material made of a synthetic resin. The insulation brush is arranged such that the tip of the brush 11 is brought into slight contact with the wheel frame of the wheel of a bicycle. The brush 11 and an insulation material applied on the given spot of a wheel frame are worn through rotation of a wheel and static electricity is generated. When the brush 11 is rotated to a position where the insulation material of the wheel is not applied, generating static electricity is discharged through a conductor 13 and a light emission body, such as LED, is caused to emit light. |
