FISHING NET AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a fishing net, capable of preventing aquatic organisms from attaching thereto by applying an electrochemical sterilization method and having electroconductivity utilizable as the fishing net and provide a method for producing the fishing net. SOLUTION: This fishing net 1 comprising knotless net yarns prepared by crossing electroconductive fibers 3 and synthetic resin fibers 2. A solidified material 4 of an electroconductive coating material is arranged in interstices of the net yarns. The resultant fishing net comprising the knotless net yarns prepared by crossing the electroconductivie fibers 3 and the synthetic resin fibers 2 is dipped in the electroconductive coating material to impregnate the interstices of the net yarns of the fishing net 1 with the electroconductive coating material under a reduced pressure and then dried to produce the fishing net 1. Thereby, the resistance value (relative value) is low and the fluctuation in the resistance value in the direction of the net yarns is decreased to reduce the lowering or fluctuation of potential even when the potential is applied thereto.
