PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for effectively separating and removing a mixture of diamagnetic carbon organic content particles and paramagnetic ash content and sulfur content particles of small magnetic susceptibility. SOLUTION: The device has a cylindrical coil 1 arranged with its central axis being inclined to be horizontal suffuse, a rotary belt 2, a wire brush-shaped structure part 3, a feeder 4, and a recovery vessel 5. The rotary belt 2 is constituted of nonmagnetic material, the wire brush-shaped structure part 3 on which wires of thin wire diameter made of ferromagnetic material are planted in the form of a brush is added onto the rotary belt 2. The rotary belt 2 is arranged so that it may make a round of a magnetic field space of a magnetic separation bore and a nonmagnetic field space of the outside. The feeder 4 is arranged above the cylindrical coil 1. The recovery vessel 5 is arranged blow the cylindrical coil 1, and is divided into two chambers by a partition plate 6. In one chamber, diamagnetic material is recovered, and in the other chamber, paramagnetic material is recovered. The partition plate 6 is movable, and its partition position is changed according to magnetic susceptibility of material to be separated. |
