PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of a mirror surface as well as the rigidity of a mounting part when forming a reflecting surface having a mirror surface for backward-viewing using synthetic resin. SOLUTION: A mirror plate 1 of the door mirror is formed in a hollow shape by gas-assist injection molding using a synthetic resin. Therefore, a high rigidity may be obtained, and a high precision of a mirror surface is obtained as well because it is possible to obtain an equal wall thickness of an outside-face plate 9 on which the mirror surface is formed substantially over the entire surface. Then, since the unevenness of the wall thickness of a inside-face plate 12 does not affect the outside-face plate, it is possible to unitarily form a joint 11 which is to be tiltably joined to support member 8 for the car body, so that the number of part items is reduced. |
