PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin-cleaning agent which holds the antimicrobial action of an extract from peels of soapberry fruits with its skin irritation reduced and is particularly effective for cleaning the part affected by dermatophytosis or atopic dermatitis. SOLUTION: This skin-cleaning agent contains an extract of fruit peel of a plant, soapberry, and an anti-inflammatory agent as active ingredients. The peel extract in a powdery form is prepared by extracting the fruit peel of soapberry with an alcohol in a usual manner, purifying the extract and concentrating the purified product to dryness. The dried powder is formulated in an amount of 0.05-1wt.%. As an anti-inflammatory agent, one or more are selected from dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, β-glycyrrhezinic acid or stearyl glycyrrhezinate and used in an amount of 0.01-10wt.%. This cleaning agent is prepared to cosmetic solution, cosmetic emulsion such as milky lotion or cream, ointment, powdery dispersion or solid preparations, for example, soap, body soap, hand soap and the like. |
