PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the radio selective call receiver which eliminates the need for complicated memory management and can effectively use a memory by setting times for which messages are stored in the memory, message by message. SOLUTION: When a message is received, a rank of hold time is inputted with an operation switch 9, and an MPU 6 calculates an erasure data and time according to the hold time corresponding to the inputted rank, stores the reception date and time and the erasure date and time of the message in a message table in an EEPROM 7, and periodically monitors the message table to erase a message whose erasure date and time are already reached. |
