<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction of a flow rate by applying the constitution that the inner diameter of a polyethylene short pipe inserted in the socket of a metallic body is made uniform over axial entire length. SOLUTION: A polyethylene short pipe 30 formed to have an outer diameter approximately equal to the inner diameter of a socket 22 and a uniform inner diameter over axial entire length is inserted therein. Furthermore, a sleeve 32 made of metal such as stainless steel and formed to have an outer diameter slightly larger than the inner diameter of the short pipe 30 is coupled to the internal surface thereof. In this case, the short pipe 30 is expanded in diameter, due to the sleeve 32, and the external surface of the short pipe 30 comes to closely adhere to the internal surface of the socket 22, thereby keeping the short pipe 30 fixed in the socket 22. Also, the inner diameter of the short pipe 30 is made uniform over axial entire length and, therefore, the reduction of a cross sectional area for a water flow can be prevented, thereby preventing a drop in a flowrate at the time of flowing water.</p> |
