<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the whole length of a junction box and a work space for a compressor, by a method wherein a coil spring by which the end of a power cable is incorporated and a receiving member by which the one end of the coil spring is compressed are provided, and a pressure member through which an elastic repulsion force is transmitted to a molded insulator from the other end of the coil spring is provided. SOLUTION: The screw rods 25 of a compressor 20 which have screw thread over their whole length are provided along and in parallel with a power cable 1. A spring 21 is coiled and its repulsion force can be properly set by selecting its material, size and number of turns and hence its length can be substantially reduced in comparison with the conventional constitution. A metallic spring receptacle 22 is an annular unit and has an approximately cranked cross-section. The spring 21 is seated in the inner cricumferential part of the receptacle 22 which has an L-shaped cross-section. The one side surface 23a of a pushing metal fitting 23 is brought into tight contact with an outside surface 5b and the other side surface 23b of the pushing metal fitting 23 has an L-shaped cross- section and the spring 21 is pressed against the surface 23b. Therefore, a space behind the spring 21 is not required and the length of a junction box is reduced.</p> |
