PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a safer tracing travel by providing a means which makes a tracing travel, a means which maneuvers the operation for the tracing travel, and a means which informs a driver of features a vehicle to be caught and a caught vehicle in voice. SOLUTION: A vehicle-to-vehicle distance detecting means 1 detects the distance between this vehicle and a precedent vehicle and a precedent vehicle feature detecting means 2 detects features of the precedent vehicle such as the color, manufacturer's name, vehicle kind, and license number. A precedent vehicle feature recognizing means 3 recognizes the features of the precedent vehicle from the signals of the vehicle distance from the vehicle-to-vehicle distance detecting means 1 and the features of the precedent vehicle from the precedent vehicle feature detecting means 2, and the tracing travel control means 4 determines a vehicle to be caught from the precedent vehicle feature data from the precedent vehicle feature recognizing means 3 and travels tracing the vehicle to be caught. The operation means 5 maneuvers the operation for starting and resetting the tracing travel and the caught vehicle feature indicating means 6 informs the driver of the features of the vehicle to be caught and caught vehicle in voice. Consequently, the driver can make the tracing travel safety without looking aside. |
