摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-accuracy judgment of neck which matches the subjectivity of an operator in operation by synthetically judging or predicting the positions and factors of the neck in work efficiency by using values which are expressed by a membership function of the fuzzy logic. SOLUTION: In a hot rolling line, information which are the factors of the neck in work efficiency are fetched in a time series, the magnitude of those degrees is expressed by the membership function of the fuzzy logic and, using the value of the membership function, the positions and factors of the neck in the work efficiency are synthetically judged or predicted using the values of the membership function. By fetching the information which are factors of the neck in the work efficiency in a time series, physical distribution is grasped, so exact decision and prediction are possible even when it is affected by the neck of other materials. The part which is judged by the subjectivity of the operator in operation and difficult to make it logic is incorporated into the decision by expressing it by the membership function of the fuzzy logic, so the decision near the judgment of the operator in operation is possible.</p>
