PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grafted fluorine-containing polymer excellent in adhesiveness, useful as a molding material, etc., without evolving a thermal decomposition product by blending a specific fluorine-containing polymer with a prescribed grafting compound and a specified free radical generating agent in a melt state under specific conditions. SOLUTION: This grafted fluorine-containing polymer is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a fluorine-containing polymer containing a hydrogen atom bonded to a carbon atom of a main chain, such as a tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene-based copolymer with preferably 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. of a grafting compound containing both a carbon-carbon unsaturated group-containing bonding group and an oxazoline group, such as 2-ricinol-2-oxazoline maleate and a free radical generating agent such as a diacyl peroxide at a temperature to make the free radical generating agent generate a free radical in a melt state to give the objective grafted fluorine-containing polymer. |
