Cylindrical rotary valve

The cylindrical rotary valve, to give a selected flow switch in two flow circuits, has a generally flat axial seal (19) between the base of the valve chamber (5) and the valve body (7). A curved radial seal (16) is between the wall of the valve chamber (5) and the cylindrical wall section (15) of the valve body (7). The axial seal (19) is in a two-layer structure, with one layer of an elastomer material and a layer of a non-stick material such as a fluor carbon resin like polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The radial seal (16) is also in a multi-layer structure using elastomer and PTFE materials.
