Heterocycle-substituted benzene derivatives of general formula (I) or salts thereof, wherein R<1> is halogeno, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, nitro, cyano, C1-C4 haloalkyl or the like; R<2> is halogeno, nitro, cyano, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 haloalkyl, C1-C4 haloalkoxy, C1-C4 alkylthio or the like; R<3> and R<4> are each hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or the like; and T is a group of general formula (II), wherein R<4>, R<5>, R<6>, R<7>, R<8>, R<9> and R<10> are each independently hydrogen, halogeno, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 haloalkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy or the like, or R<5> or R<6> may unite with R<7> or R<8> to form C1-C5 alkylene. These compounds exhibit an excellent herbicidal activity and preparations containing the compounds are useful as herbicides excellent in crop selectivity.
