The shape of the end cap matches the outer shape of the body (12) of a three-part tin-plate aerosol can (10) or folded end cap (14). Matching shaped fitments (19) are identically fixed to the integrated end cap of the one-piece aluminium can. The aluminium aerosol can has the same dimensions and functional properties as the end cap. The end cap has a shoulder corresponding to the flanged rim or fold (16) of the end cap.
