Parking system, especially with spirally positioned parking spaces

The vehicles are conveyed by the conveyor between entry and exit parts to and from the parking spaces. The conveyor is guided spirally along a rail around the central mast (1). The conveyor is guided by at least one ring (5) around the mast, between at least two movable, separate, wheeled (6) transporters (7) each of which has an automatic transfer appliance. After the vehicles have been deposited, the transporters are driven singly to the parking spaces or, in the case of there being fewer vehicles than the number of transporters, the excess transporters are driven to the entry area.
