<p>A method for creating a digital sound segment by mixing component digital sound segments, and sound synthesising and/or recording devices using same, are disclosed. The method comprises not only mixing steps (1)+(2)+(3)=(1a), but also demixing steps (1a)-(2)=(1b), which saves computing time as only the difference between the current version and the previous version is calculated during each digital audio creation step. Said sound synthesising and/or recording devices enable an arbitrarily large number of simultaneous sounds to be both played and modified in real time.</p> |
