Movable stand for sun shade

The stand (alpha) has a rectangular base formed from U-section steel which is filled with concrete. The underside can have two rollers and two rubber feet. The support tube for the parasol mast can have a handle lever extending from it at right angles. By moving the handle lever (f) through a stroke in the required direction of travel, the stand can be steered and further lifting of the handle can tilt the parasol to allow easier movement. Tilting of the base allows the weight to be taken on the two rollers for easier handling of the parasol.
