ELECTRIC LAMP

The electric lamp has a lamp vessel (1) having an opposed first (2) and second seal (3) through which a first (5) and a second current conductor (6) respectively extend. The second current conductor (6) runs alongside the lamp vessel (1) to beyond the first seal (2). A portion thereof which is located laterally of the lamp vessel (1) has an electrically insulating sleeve (7). A pinched portion (8) of the second current conductor (6) prevents displacement of the sleeve (7) to beyond said portion (8). A pinched portion (8) may be present at either end of the sleeve (7).
