The present invention describes a sleeve for printing presses, wherein a tubular shell provided with collar-shaped connecting parts and consisting of aluminium is shrunk onto a two-layer inner tube. In this way, it is possible to dispense with the use of hard foam, by means of which the connection of the tubular shell with the inner two-layer tube is produced. This is because it has been shown in practice that hard foam is susceptible to chemical, thermal and mechanical stresses. |
