For the stomatological use of laser light the invention proposes a handpiece which can be connected on its proximal side with a mobile light and media transfer system (1, 2) and ends on its distal side in an application element (24) containing a working tip (27, 30, 33, 36). The light beam in the application element is advantageously deflected to a point of emergence extending essentially at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the application element, and is bundled in such a manner that the focus lies immediately in front of the light emergence window. <IMAGE> |
