The method involves using a terminal (1) which has a vertical backboard (2) and a housing (7) which can be displaced at an angle to the horizontal. The apparatus includes inclined planes (2c-2f) on the backboard which co-operate with upper and lower guide bars (11,12) within the housing. The housing can be pivoted about a horizontal axis defined by recesses (15,16) into which the lower guide bar (12) is inserted. Alternately, the inclined planes are carried on housing and the guide bars on the backboard.
