<p>The device adjusts the length of a flexible, mechanical remote operating pull-cord (30), and has tubular and hollow rod-shaped components (1,2) which can slide inside one another. Each component can engage in the other to different depths, using an annular notched element (4) which is held in position by a retaining spring (3). Each component also has a receptacle (5) on its free end for an axial outer sleeve (27) of the pull-cord, whose inner cable (26) extends through the component. A sleeve part (7) is connected around the tubular component (2), and has a conical resting surface (8) in the region of the hollow rod-shaped component (1). The notched element slides on this surface using a radially outer sliding surface (9). A stop (24) is connected firmly to the outer sleeve with a spacing from the receptacle in which a compression spring element is arranged. The latter is especially a helical spring (25), whose spring constant is larger than that of the retaining spring.</p> |
