PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight position detector of a sealed type kneader with which clean environment can be maintained without leakage of a compounding agent and which does not need exchanging of a detecting bar and a packing so that maintenance can be facilitated. SOLUTION: In a sealed type kneader, a feed hopper 6 is connected to a material supply opening arranged on an upper part of a chamber, a weight cylinder 7 having a piston 17 movable up and down is connected to the top end of the feed hopper 6, and a piston rod 18 which is extended from the piston 17 to the lower part of the weight cylinder 7 is connected to a floating weight 8 which is inserted into the feed hopper 6 movably up and down. In the weight cylinder 7, a detection means for detecting a relative position of the piston 17 or the piston rod 18 to the weight cylinder 7 is provided. |
