PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grease composition having improved heat resistance, excellent lubricity and a high dropping point and can prevent heat generation by mixing a base oil with a lithium complex soap, a cleaner/dispersant and nickel dithiocarbamate. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by adding a lithium complex soap obtained by saponifying a mixture comprising a monocarboxylic acid and a dibasic acid with lithium hydroxide, especially obtained by mixing 1mol of a 16-30C monocarboxylic acid or hydroxymonocarboxylic acid with 0.5-1mol of a 6-25C aliphatic dibasic acid, 0.1-3wt.% cleaner/dispersant being at least one member selected from among alkaline earth metal sulfonates, alkaline earth metal salicylates, alkaline earth metal phosphates, etc., and 0.3-3wt.% nickel dithiocarbamate represented by the formula (R<1> and R<2> are each a 3-20C alkyl or an alkenyl) to a base oil being a mineral oil or a synthetic oil and optionally adding various additives to the resulting mixture. |
