PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording material utilizing the reaction of a usually colorless or light-colored electron donating dye precursor and a coupler allowing the dye precursor to generate a reversible hue change by heating and generating no curl. SOLUTION: A reversible thermal recording layer containing a usually colorless or light-colored electron donating dye precursor and a reversible coupler allowing the dye precursor to develop a color by heating and erasing the color by reheating the developed color dye precursor and the layer compensating the function thereof are applied to both surfaces of the support of a reversible thermal recording material in the same layered constitution so that the components of the corresponding same functional layers become same and thickness and coating method/coating condition become same. |
