PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attempt compactness of a device total unit and improvement of processing accuracy. SOLUTION: In a honing machine, an expansion rod 35 is coaxially stored in a spindle 9 rotated by a spindle driving mechanism 9a and vertically moved in an axial direction by an oscillation device. This expansion rod 35 is arranged in a housing 11 in the upward of the spindle 9, to be rotated by a ball spline 36 rotation-transmitted from a grinding wheel extending motor 31, on the other hand, to be screw fed by a ball screw 37 constituted by a tubular nut 38 clamped to a nut holder in the downward inside of the spindle 9, the expansion rod is longitudially moved in an axial direction. Accordingly, a surplus structure is not provided in the spindle 9, compactness is provided, so as to make high speed rotation capable, machining accuracy is improved. |
