PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agricultural material, comprising a specific ingredient, safe for the environment and capable of raising the utillzation efficiency of a fertilizer and an agrochemical and saving dusting or spraying operations, etc. SOLUTION: This agricultural material comprises an agrochemical and/or a fertilizer in a grain of a poly-α-amino acid, obtained by carrying out the emulsion or heterogeneous polymerization of anα-amino acid N-carbonic anhydride and having the biodegradability or its deriavative. In this case, the average grain diameter of the agricultural material is 0.01-100μm and the agricultural material is perpared by regulating the amount of the polyα-amino acid grain to 0.1-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. agrochemical such as a fertilizer, e.g. urea and/or the agrochemical, e.g. a herbicide or an insecticide. The agricultural material is stabilized in elution pattern and is capable of completely disappearing after completing the release of the chemical ingredient.
