METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SINTERING ORE

Quality of the sinter was improved by preventing rapid cooling of sinter in melting and reduction reaction. An iron ore powder, antigorite, silica, lime stone and caustic lime were mixed with cokes powder in a mixer(32), added moistures and particlized by a granulating machine(34). The granule was passed over sintering machine(39), ignition furnace, exhausted to give the sinter. The rapid cooling of the sinter(S) was prevented by absorption of hot blast by naturally generating heat of negative phototropic part(52) to increase the yield of the sinter. The collection efficiency was also improved by decreasing collection load of the negative phototropic part(52).
