PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a software processing and to shorten processing time by executing blank filling processing for an object picture by performing a pipeline operation once. CONSTITUTION:An end point register 6 records the value of a counter 12 by the output of a coincidence detecting circuit 2 and the AND signal of a clock 27 while a picture effective signal 26 is H. When the signal 26 becomes L, while the content of a start point register 5 is transferred to an output start point register 7, the content of the register 6 is transferred to an output end point register 8, respectively. When the picture data of the next row is started to be inputted, while the output of the counter 12 is compared with the content of the output start point register 7 in a first comparator 9, the output of the counter 12 is compared with the content of the output end point register 8 in a second comparator 10, and the first and second comparators 9 and 10 respectively output K or L. In an output buffer 11, a signal as the result of obtaining the AND between the output of the first comparator 9 and the output of the second comparator 10 is received, and density FF is outputted as output data 29 when this signal is H, and 00 is outputted as the output data 29 when this signal is L. |
