SCREEN-LIKE PLATED ARTICLE COMPRISING MESH-LIKE FABRIC USING CORE-SHEATH-CONJUGATED FILAMENT AND CYLINDER FOR ROTARY SCREENING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a screen-like plated product by melting cross point of yarns of a mesh-like fabric comprising a core-sheath type conjugated fiber filament and subjecting the fabric to metal plating treatment. SOLUTION: A polyethylene terephthalate is arranged in a core part and a polyester having melting point which is >=20 deg.C lower, preferably >=30 deg.C lower than that of the core component and copolymerized with isophthalic acid, etc., is arranged in a sheath component to form a core-sheath type conjugate fiber filament. The conjugate fiber filaments are used as warp and weft to weave into mesh-like fabric and the sheath component is melted by heat-treatment. Thereby, a sheath component is melted and a core yarn is mutually fused in the cross point of yarns and coated with the sheath component whose surface is melted to provided mesh-like fabric in which thickness of fabric in the intersection point is 85-60% based on total thickness of diameter of crossed yarn or conjugated filament is wound in double so as to cross in cylinder and the insertion point of yarn is similarly fused to form the mesh-like cylindrical fabric. The surface of these mesh-like material is plated with metal and further, as necessary, subjected to black dyeing treatment.
