<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method for grinding and granulating used paper containing a plastic, etc., and an apparatus used for the method. SOLUTION: Old paper is supplied to a grinding gap 6 between a cylinder 4 for grinding old paper and a revolving member 5 rotating inside the grinding cylinder 4. The used paper is dropped by its empty weight, forcibly transported by a forcibly drawing thread 9 formed on either or both of the grinding cylinder 4 and the revolving member 5 and made into paper fibers. The used paper is supplied to a guide channel 10 made deep at the upper part and shallow at the lower part and transported from a housing pocket 10A attached to the top of the guide channel 10 downward. The used paper to be sent downward is ground in a narrow fiber forming gap 6A set between the forcibly drawing thread 9 and the inner face of the grinding cylinder 4 or the outer face of the revolving member 5. Further the discharged amount of the fibers is restricted by a narrow ring slit 6B set a grinding gap 6 installed at the bottom of the grinding gap 6 and the old paper ground into the fibers is discharged. The used paper made into the fibers is entangled with pulp and granulated.</p> |
