PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conductive ceramic large in a Young's modulus and having an electric resistance value enabling to liberate static electricity generated in electric parts by adding zinc ferrite to calcium ferrite. SOLUTION: This conductive ceramic comprises 95-10wt.% of one or two of CaFe2 O4 and Ca2 Fe2 O5 and 5-90wt.% of ZnFe2 O4 and has a volume resistivity value of <=10<6> Ω.cm. This conductive ceramic is produced through a process for mixing and grinding a composition containing 95-10wt.% of calcium ferrite comprising 55-33mol.% of iron oxide and 45-67mol.% of calcium oxide and the remaining amount of zinc ferrite, a process for molding the mixture powder to obtain a molded product, and a sintering process comprising sintering the molded product at 1000-1200 deg.C and subsequently cooling the sintered product at a cooling rate of >=300 deg.C/h. |
