PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an ITO sintered product by subjecting a slurry containing indium oxide powder and tin oxide powder to a slurry cast molding treatment, capable of producing the IPO sintered product having a high density and a desired homogeneous composition and free from the irregularity of the density by adopting a specific method. SOLUTION: This method for producing an ITO sintered product comprises subjecting a slurry containing an indium compound and a tin compound in an amount of 50-90wt.% based on the total weight of the indium compound, the tin compound and a dispersing medium to a slurry cast molding treatment and subsequently sintering the molded product. Therein, the slurry contains a defoaming agent, and a vibration cast molding treatment imparting vibrations to a mold is adopted as the slurry cast molding treatment. The sintering treatment is carried out in an ozone-containing atmosphere, an oxygen or oxygen- enriched air atmosphere or a pressed atmosphere containing oxygen and/or ozone, or carried out in a sintering oven in which powder containing tin oxide is disposed. |
