A single-package, duroplastic hardenable coating compound is disclosed for applying a multi-functional, corrosion-resistant adhesive layer on the surface of various materials. These coating compounds consist of backbone binders and hardeners or cross-linking agents. They are characterized in that they may be activated without adhesives by energy supply at temperatures up to 80 temperature C and in that they harden at temperatures above 80 temperature C, reaching their final solidity in the shortest time.
