The kit comprises an enclosing tube (1), a long bar (2) and two short ones (3), two couplings (4) and two towing hooks (5). The tube can be forked at one end and with bolts by which the bars hinge on it. For towing a vehicle, a short and a long bar can be inserted in the tube, so as to form a straight towbar, secured by a coupling to the towing vehicle and a hook to the towed one. Alternatively, the forked end of the tube can hinge via a bolt on the long bar, while a short bar is inserted in the tube free end and positioned by a bolt so as to give the desired length. Both bars are attached to the towed vehicle and the other end of the long one to the towing vehicle.
