PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for feeding a weak current in vivo for low frequency therapeutic apparatuses, inspection and diagnosing apparatuses such as electrocardiographs, electromyographs, electroencephalographs used for treatment of organic or functional disorder in a bone/joint system, a muscular system, a brain nervous system and the like. SOLUTION: In a flat electrode, a cloth body is laminated on one side of a resin film and a conductive layer on the other side thereof and the flat electrode thus obtained is used in close contact with the surface of skin. The resin film herein used is a polyethylene terephthalate film with a thickness of 2-38μm and the cloth body herein used is a cloth made of polyester joined on the resin film by an adhesive. At least a part coming in close contact with the surface of skin of the conductive layer is composed, of a conductive pressure sensitive agent 5 while T-shaped peel adhesion strength of the polyester cloth 1 joined on the resin film by an adhesive is above 0.15kgf/25mm according to a test method as stipulated in JIS K 6854 and the creep fracture time of an adhesive layer under a load of 300g at a measuring temperature of 40 deg.C is more than 20min. according to a test method stipulated in JIS K 6859. Thus, excellent adhesion is obtained. |
