PURPOSE:To provide a protective device of a torch to prevent damage of the torch and damage of a torch holding machine and stop a mobile axis even if the torch in a cutting machine collides with an obstacle such as a material to be cut or a work. CONSTITUTION:A torch fixing and supporting plate 11 freely movable in the right and left and before and behind directions is provided and this torch fixing and supporting plate 11 is provided with a holding device to hold a torch movably supporting plate 23. In addition, the torch 31 is clamped on a torch clamping device consisting of a torch clamp receiving base 27 and a torch clamp 29 on the torch movably supporting plate 23. Further, the above-mentioned protective device is provided with a desplacement sensor 43 to detect displacement of the torch 31 when the torch 31 collides with the obstacle. |
