<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piano caster position adjusting device which allows even a powerless person to easily fix piano casters in positions and which can prevent the piano from inclining even if the floor face is uneven. SOLUTION: A rate at which rotation of a worm wheel 14 is decelerated as a worm 26 is rotated by a rotating jig 30 in the direction shown by the arrow R is so great that even small torque imparted to the worm 26 by the rotating jig 30 is amplified to a larger one, making it possible to rotate the worm wheel 14, with a screw shaft 20 raised and lowered by this large torque. Therefore even a powerless person can easily raise and lower the legs 4 of a piano by rotating the worms 26. With the casters 24 of all the legs 4 projected, the piano becomes movable since it is supported on the casters 24. When the floor face is uneven, inclination of the piano can be corrected by projecting some of the casters according to the degree of the unevenness.</p> |
