<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the connection strength of a head to a shaft while achieving a lower center of gravity by protrusively arranging a hosel part directly on a side face surface of the base end part of a head part to insert the shaft into a shaft hole formed in the hosel part. SOLUTION: A face surface 13 is formed by casting or the like to form a head part 11. A hosel 12 is formed direct by on the face surface 13 protruding upward at the base end of the head part 11. A shaft hole is formed to pierce a sole part on the rear undersurface of the head part 11 from the upper end of the hosel 12. The lower end part of a shaft 21 is inserted to be fitted into the shaft hole. The piercing of the sole part by the shaft hole allows the lessening of the protrusion length of the hosel part 12 to obtain the insertion length of the shaft part 21 necessary for securing a specified connection strength thereby achieving a lower position of the center of gravity.</p> |
