PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause no change in joule heat even when the inner crucible is eroded to prevent the analytical accuracy from being lowered in a graphite crucible consisting of an outer crucible and an inner crucible by setting the value of the resistivity of the inner crucible lager than that of the outer crucible. SOLUTION: A graphite crucible 1 used for an analyzer for quantitatively analyzing components contained in a sample such as a metal material consists of an outer crucible 11 and an inner crucible 12 each in the shape of a cylinder with a bottom. Both the crucibles 11, 12 are constituted of graphite, ash and the like. The inner crucible 12 is attachably and detachably housed in the outer crucible 11. The resistivity of the inner crucible 12 is set at a value larger than that of the outer crucible 11, for example, when the resistivity of the outer crucible 11 is set about 1000μΩ.cm, that of the inner crucible 12 is set about 1150μΩ.cm. The adjustment of the resistivity is made by changing at least one of the rate of pores (voids) (porosity) and kinds of ash or the rate of ash is changed.
