PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aq. ink jet recording paper excellent in tear resistance, printability, waterproofness, sewing properties and curl preventing properties. SOLUTION: In ink jet recording paper forming a recording image by using aq. ink, a, nonwoven fabric sheet (A) with a basis wt. of 12-80g/m<2> obtained by heating and pressing a nonwoven fabric like article wherein staple fibers are entangled or a fiber reinforced nonwoven fabric sheet with a basis wt. of 60-200g/m<2> obtained by sprinkling a thermoplastic resin powder over the nonwoven fabric like article and/or laminating a thermoplastic resin sheet thereto and subsequently integrating the whole under heating and pressure is set to a rear surface layer and a water-resistant stretched resin film (B) characterized by that Clark rigidity (S value) is 8-300 is both of longitudinal and lateral directions and wall thickness is 20-300μm is bonded to the surface of the nonwoven fabric sheet by using an adhesive to obtain a support having laminated structure and an ink receiving layer (C) based on pigment is provided on the stretched resin film layer (B) of the support. |
