摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a differential temperature between the peripheral area and the central area and enhance the efficiency of energy by laying out at least a pair of heat reservoirs which are adjacent to each other in such a state that their shaft of a honeycomb communication holes may be deviated. SOLUTION: A radiant tube 41 is laid out in the upper part of a furnace chamber 1 made of refractory bricks. A pair of combustion chambers 5a and 5b which are connected to the radiant tube 41 and the end of the tube form a basic part of a burner main body 50. Refractory brick-made ducts 7a and 7b where heat reservoirs 6a and 6b in ceramics-made honeycomb structure is laid out, are continuously provided alone a gas flow passage and a heating air supply device and a combustion gas emission device are switchably connected to each other. The gas flow passages of the ducts 7a and 7b are bent in the form of the letter L. The heat reservoirs 6a and 61a and the heat reservoirs 6b and 61b are laid out across the space of a bending area 71, which deviates the axis of the honeycomb communication hole of the adjacent heat reservoirs in the direction at right angles.
