PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a baking repairing material with excellent tolerance by compounding a refractory material with a PE resin having a specific number average molecular weight and a material capable of forming carbon bond is hot atmosphere each in a specified amount. SOLUTION: A refractory material is prepared by treating one or more kinds selected from a basic oxide such as magnesia, an acidic oxide such as silica, a nonoxide such as SiO, etc., so that the content of a particle component having particle diameters smaller than about 0.3mm is about 20-60%. Subsequently, 100 pts.wt. of the refractory material is compounded with 5-30 pts.wt. of a flow stimulating and combustion improving agent such as a low molecular- weight PE resin having a number average molecular weight of 450-3000 and a melting point of about 90-130 deg.C and 5-40 pts.wt. of a material capable of forming carbon bond in hot atmosphere such as a tar pitch or a phenolic resin to obtain the objective baking repairing material. |
