PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly obtain a close and uniform formed body for work lining in a molten iron pouring hole by using plastic refractory and pushing in with handwork or hitting with a wooden hammer without requiring a working machine of an air hammer, etc. SOLUTION: The working lining is composed of aluminum, silicon carbide, carbon and phosphoric acid series binder. The plastic refractory 23 having 15-20 WI value in the equation WI=100(H0 -H1 )/H0 (wherein, H0 is the length of a test piece at the time of giving the shock by using the hammer and dropping the weight onto the test piece at 10 times and H1 is the length of the test piece at the time of giving the shock by dropping the weight in the condition of further putting a ring onto the test piece) is used and pushed to studs 25 projected from an outer iron shell frame with the handwork or wooden hammer to form the working lining. |
